Activities & programs

Guided by the Eden Alternative philosophy, recreational programming focuses on purpose, joy, and belonging. Activities include gardening, art projects, games, music, and special themed events. Recreation therapy staff coordinate programs daily. Physiotherapy is available five days per week. Occupational therapy, pastoral and spiritual care, and special outings are offered. A library and TV lounge provide leisure space. Residents enjoy 48 hours of weekly leave and 21 vacation days per year.

Dining

All meals are prepared on-site daily with fresh ingredients. Residents choose from two menu options at each mealtime. A nourishment cart circulates three times daily with tea, coffee, juices, fruit, and snacks. A tuck shop offers additional treats. Meal tray service is available for residents who are unwell. Central dining and neighbourhood unit dining areas are available. Cultural and special diets are fully accommodated. Alcohol is permitted at physician's discretion and at organized social events.
