Activities & programs

The Recreation Department offers programs seven days a week addressing social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual needs. Activities include musical entertainment, pet visits, local bus outings, seasonal crafts, exercise, baking, movies, reminiscing, trivia, music therapy, current events, and evening programs. Programs range from one-on-one visits to large group events. Weekly faith services, pastoral visits on request, and a Residents' and Family Council are also available.

Dining

Queensway provides three nutritious meals daily plus snacks between meals and at bedtime, overseen by a Nutrition Manager and Registered Dietitian. The menu features seasonal favourites, special therapeutic diets, dietary supplements, and self-feeding aids. Complimentary refreshments are available 24/7. On the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, the home hosts a Dining for Seniors evening open to local seniors, followed by entertainment. Meals on Wheels is also offered three days a week.
