Activities & programs

Our recreation programs run seven days a week, meeting residents' physical, intellectual, social, vocational, emotional, and spiritual needs. Programs include music therapy, garden and horticultural activities, community and cultural events, holiday celebrations, intergenerational programs, volunteer opportunities, pet therapy visits, and bus trips. Residents participate in Family and Resident Council meetings and Men's Club activities. All programs are specifically designed toward residents' interests and abilities, with freedom to choose participation levels.

Dining

Residents enjoy three nutritious home-cooked meals daily in our formal dining area, prepared fresh by our culinary team. Menus are overseen by our dietician to ensure balanced nutrition and accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Snacks and refreshments are available throughout the day in common areas. Our dining experience promotes social interaction and community connection in a comfortable setting. Options for varying tastes and cultural preferences. Fresh ingredients and home-style cooking make every meal enjoyable and satisfying.

The neighbourhood offers strong support for seniors. The Downsview Long Term Care Centre is on-site, providing assisted living with 24-hour nursing.
