Wellington Terrace offers comprehensive recreation programming tailored to each of our 6 neighbourhoods. Residents enjoy weekly music therapy services, our music and memory program, special events throughout the year, and bus trips to community attractions. Each neighbourhood maintains its own monthly activity calendar featuring diverse programming for physical, spiritual, and intellectual well-being. Activities include arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, social gatherings, and entertainment. We also welcome volunteers and have an active Residents' Council.
Dining
All meals are prepared on-site by our qualified cooks who take pride in producing a variety of delicious home-style foods. Residents receive three nutritious meals daily plus snacks, with freshly made in-house items for desserts throughout the week. Each of our 6 neighbourhoods has its own dining room for a comfortable, intimate dining experience. Complete daily menus are available online with full nutritional facts and ingredients. Family members are welcome to join residents for meals with advance booking at a minimal cost.
The neighbourhood
This neighbourhood offers picturesque views of the Elora-Fergus countryside or gardens. The Wellington County Museum and Archives and Aboyne Library are conveniently located right next door. Residents at Wellington Terrace have access to various recreational and social programs. Nearby parks include Tye Diamond, Ryan Park, Kirvan Park, and Strathallen Park. The Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex also provides outdoor courts for activities like pickleball. There is no municipal public transit. However, a free seasonal Downtown Shuttle Bus operates during summer months (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), connecting key locations in Elora and Fergus, with a stop next door.
