Activities & programs
The recreation team at Golden Birches Terrace provides programs designed to meet residents' social, physical, cognitive, cultural, and spiritual needs. Activities include beauty day, exercises, baking, movies, bingo, and themed holiday celebrations. Programs are offered one-on-one and in groups, at times convenient to residents. Dining
Residents receive three daily meals provided as part of their accommodation. Meals are served in the shared Dining Room, which also serves as a welcoming space for family visits. NSHN's dietician services, offered through the on-site Huron Shores Family Health Team, support residents' nutritional needs. Assistance with meals is provided by nursing and personal support staff as needed. Special diets and dietary considerations are accommodated as part of each resident's individualized care plan.
